WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Applicants MUST be Nigerians
  • Applicants MUST be at least 21 years old

AUDITION & SELECTION PROCESS

  • The Housemates will be chosen through an audition process which will be held over two days at each of the selected city across the Country.
  • The judges in the selection process will include three to five reputable and famous Nigerians from the entertainment and agriculture industries and one from an Official Partner.
  • Applicants will discuss or present the reasons or basis as to why they should be admitted as housemates in the first round.
  • Selected applicants from the first round will go into the second round where housemates will be screened on other qualities.
  • At the final round, successful applicants will go through a screening process from which the final 50 housemates will be selected.

ACTIVITIES IN THE FARMHOUSE

Upon Admission into the Farmhouse, Housemates will be divided into teams. They will undergo various programs and activities including innovative, technology-based training (classroom and field) on modern techniques for agriculture development (production and processing) and other pertinent areas of interest.

The activities in the FarmHouse can be divided into the following five major groups:

  • Mental and physical
  • Agriculture production training that involves classroom and field (using modern mechanized agriculture plant and equipment) training in the following areas:

a. Soil and water management
b. Livestock
c. Food and cash crops
d. Large-scale farm management

  • Sales & marketing training in the following areas:

a. Digital marketing
b. Logistics & supply chain
c. Exposure to opportunities in both domestic and export markets for agriculture products.

  • Business Management training in the following areas:

a. Finance & Book-keeping
b. Good agriculture practices (G.A.P.)
c. Production equipment maintenance
d. Business plan writing

  • Entertainment & social
